Kaenon at the FIVB Tour in Shanghai

After thirty-five straight matches without a loss on the FIVB World Tour, the number of gold medals for the highest-ranked beach volleyball player in the world, Todd Rogers, really begins to add up. Wearing Jetty Seaweed G12, the reigning Olympic champions, Rogers and his teammate Phil Daulhauser claimed yet another title, their 19th FIVB gold medal, and second straight win this year. Not counting a finals match they forfeited last August, due to injury, the two-man team has not lost a FIVB match since 2009. Nick Lucena, also wearing Jetty Seaweed G12, finished 5th.

The Kaenon women also made a strong charge during the event, as Brooke Hanson, wearing the new Georgia Pomegranate C12, knocked out the top-ranked Brazilians, ultimately securing a fourth place finish. Angie Akers also competed, wearing Hard Kore G12.
