Courtney Conlogue Wins ASP 6-Star Event in Portugal
Kaenon team rider Courtney Conlogue won the ASP 6-Star Estoril Surf & Music Billabong Girls Pro in Portugal last weekend. Courtney faced off against Lakey Peterson in the final, barely edging out a narrow lead early in the round. It wasn’t until the final five minutes that Conlogue caught a left and impressed the judges with two backhand snaps, scoring a 7.67 (of 10) which secured her victory.
“I feel pretty good now and it has been a crazy week and I’m stoked to be on the podium in this event,” said Conlogue in an interview on ASPWorldTour.com. “Every single heat I had to be on my toes because it was not an easy win. Now I am heading home to have some rest which I am looking forward to because it has been a long year so far.”
Courtney wears Burnet White G12.
