The show’s previous host, John Barrett, has passed the torch to Conway, charging him with the responsibility to usher in the next generation of fly fishermen.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to host the re-launch of Fly Fishing the World. The re-tooling of this long-running series raises the bar for adventure-angling, and introduces viewers to the eclectic cast of characters an intrepid wanderer meets on a journey through fly fishing’s outer realms,” said host, Conway Bowman.

During this season, Conway will travel to some unforgettable locations like Baja, Mexico, where he takes viewers in search of the elusive roosterfish, Montana’s rivers, in search of trout during the biggest flood event in recent memory, the Great Lakes and Hawaii, hunting double-digit bonefish and giant trevally.

I have enjoyed Conway on FFTW. I am looking forward to more shows this spring. The carp fishing was great to watch. Show a few flies and tackle.
