Allenby Third at McGladry Classic
In St. Simons Island, Georgia last weekend, Brian Gay, playing in Jetty Black G12, found himself in second after Round One. But it was Robert Allenby who improved each day to take the lead into his final hole yesterday, only to double bogey the 18th and having to settle for third.
Allenby continues to tell us he’s in love with his new White Hard Kores outfitted with C50 lenses, and his play shows it. However, this will likely be it for Allenby on the US PGA Tour this year, as he has titles to defend in South Africa and his native Australia the next two months. He will take both his new White and Titanium Hard Kores along with him on the Southern Hemisphere Tours through January.
